Hidden in grounds on a vine-covered hillside, the chateau of Engarran is the most feminine, the most baroque and the best conserved of all the Montpellier "follies". An elegant building in the flaxen coloured stone of Pignan, it has architectural details on its façade which are like a dedication to love and wine, witness to a tradition and passion for wine unbroken since 1632.
